deploy, configure and manage using the tool set provided
with the product. The simple and intuitive graphical user
interfaces and configuration management concepts help administrators
master the controls quickly and easily. The core components
of the product include Administrator, Remote Console, Web
Reports, and Traffic Monitor. |

Deployment |

Policy.Net Enterprise offers flexible and easy deployment
options. The Policy Agent must be installed at each
endpoint computer, optionally using remote deployment
facilities for overnight and unattended installs. The
Policy Server may be installed on one or more servers
for load balancing and high availability. The Remote
Console, Database Server, Traffic Monitor and Reports
may be installed on one or more workstations or servers
as needed. |

Administration |

Policy.Net Enterprise is easy
to configure using the Administrator user interface
to customize policies based on user, IP address, service
and/or application. Administrators can enforce policies
for roaming users based on logon name and domain, and
for nodes based on IP/MAC address, fully qualified
domain name or NetBIOS name. |

web based printable reports to analyze traffic data
from various perspectives, to query information about
overall system configuration and status of the agents
configured throughout the enterprise. |

The Traffic Monitor provides
real-time graphical views in a 16-window split screen
display, to profile network traffic and usage with
dynamically customizable chart types and windows, to
easily detect bottlenecks or traffic patterns. |

Remote Console |

The Remote Console shows detailed
status and configuration information about the distributed
agents in real-time. It allows operator control over
one or more agents simultaneously for quick endpoint
administration to avoid loss of productivity. The remote
traffic recording interface allows administrators to
record detailed network activity based on provisioned
monitor rules (e.g.. e-mail, chat sessions, etc.) at
one or more agents simultaneously. This non-intrusive
and non-promiscuous mode of operation is the most efficient
technique to monitor endpoint activity and offers real-time
performance with unlimited capture interval. |
